Modern stamping mold production is a large-scale continuous manufacturing method. Due to the participation and involvement of high-tech, the stamping production method has gradually evolved from initial manual operations to integrated manufacturing. The production process has gradually realized mechanization and automation, and is developing towards intelligence and integration. In actual production, when the production batch size of stamping parts is large, the size is small, and the tolerance requirements are small, it is uneconomical or even difficult to meet the requirements if using a dispersed single process for stamping. At this time, centralized schemes are often used in the process, i.e., two or more single processes are concentrated in one mold to complete. The methods called combination are different, and they can also be divided into three combination methods: composite, progressive, and composite progressive. Compound stamping - A combined method of completing two or more different single processes simultaneously at the same station of a mold in one working stroke of a press. Progressive stamping - a combination of two or more different single processes at different stations of the same die in a certain sequence in a single working stroke of the press. Composite - Progressive - A combination process involving both composite and progressive methods on a pair of dies. There are also many types of die structures. Generally, according to the nature of the process, it can be divided into blanking dies, bending dies, deep drawing dies, and forming dies; According to the combination method of processes, it can be divided into single process molds, composite molds, and progressive molds. However, regardless of the type of punch, it can be seen as consisting of an upper mold and a lower mold. The upper mold is fixed to the press workbench or pad, which is the fixed part of the punch. During operation, the blank is positioned on the lower mold surface through positioning parts, and the press slider drives the upper mold to press down. Under the action of the mold working parts (i.e., male and female molds), the blank will undergo separation or plastic deformation, thereby obtaining the required shape and size of the punch. When the upper mold picks up, the discharge and discharge device of the mold unloads, pushes, and ejects the punch or scrap from the male and female molds for the next stamping cycle.
